Fucncunt-Coldeaccol One of those demos that gets revered as a lost masterwork of Finnish Death Metal. Turns out it's just jittery prog nonsense that throws paint at a wall in the hope that something sticks.
Septicflesh-Sumerian Daemons Listening to Communion has sent me on a slow but steady discog run. This is the latest, and still the best album of theirs that works in their more technical style.

Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath Oldest metal album in existence, but never grows old. I listened to Vol. 4 today. The first six Sabbath albums are all good.
Yesterday was thrash day
Onslaught - The Force Slayer - Hell Awaits Kryptos - The Coils of Apollyon Exciter - Long Live the Loud Bewitcher - Under the Witching Cross

Briton Rites- Occulte Fantastique Never listened to this band before but with all the recent posts I decided to listen through the album. I can’t say this is my brand of doom, but I liked it. I think more listens will allow it to grow on me better. Swanson at times sounds like Ozzy and at others sounds more like the vocalist of Nevermore, only less skilled and all. I am familiar with his work on Sumerlands, which I liked more. But again, time may be the factor for me on this record.
Black Sabbath- Master of Reality Black Sabbath- Paranoid

Yeah, it does perhaps not quite warrant the fanboyism the announcement sparked, but it is quite good. I think everybody had more or less given up on a follow up to For Mircalla, so it it was a very nice surprise.
You should give that one a try as well, it is great.

Kramp: Gods of Death.
This is very good heavy/epic metal. Have a feeling this album could have ended up on my year list, had I discovered it a little earlier.

Morbid Angel- Formulas Fatal to the Flesh This is an album I should be listening to a bit more. Because it’s not as important to me as Altars of Madness, I tend to forget how impressive this album really is. It’s uniquely experimental in places, and there’s really a ton of things going on in it. It had some of the fastest playing in a MA album, and also perhaps the most variety in my opinion. What I can’t stand about the album are those electronic instrumental tracks. Those are just abysmal. Boring tracks that feel like they go absolutely nowhere. What were they thinking?! Is that the beginning of their lousy ideas that led to their ultimate downfall with Ilud...? Sigh

Arghoslent-Incorrigible Bigotry People praise this as the peak of Melodeath all the time, and for the life of me, I have no fucking clue why. Just a bunch of mediocre Trad riffs, disjointed songwriting, and racism.
