Saxon - Crusader Savatage - Dungeons are Calling Slayer - Reign in Blood Sabaton - Carolus Rex Spent the day in the S section of the IPod
You are still on Ipod? Loved the ipod classic, was my main portable for the longest time.
But itunes kinda sucks, so eventually moved to musicbee and android phone though. (affordable micro SD cards removed the main selling point of the ipod in my view)

That takes me way back. I had a 40 GB model for five years, then an iPod Touch until the headphone jack died. I didn't use iTunes, and sometimes connecting to them was a bitch. Used an old Playbook to listen to music at work after that, then that died too and I started using my phone. I rarely load stuff on it now because I can stream from my Plex server (as long as the connection doesn't go down for some reason - hasn't happened since the summer...) iTunes does suck but I'm married to my iPhone so I still use it. It works perfectly well for stuff I download to review but on my phone I mostly stream through Amazon or other services since I have unlimited data. When I'm home (all the time now that I work from home due to Covid) I have an old 165GB classic iPod and a speaker/base that both work fine so I loaded it up and have it in my office where I work. My desktop is in a room the rest of the family frequents and they are not metalheads, so there's that... LOL

This album is just returning back on my playlist over and over again... I have had to force myself to listen to other stuff. During one of my forced breaks I came across this band. Null....again probably way late to the party on this band as well but right now I am switching between Null and Yoth Iria. This null album smokes as well..

Manilla Road- Crystal Logic
Manilla Road- Open the Gates
Yep, you can probably tell what kind of listening mood I'm in today.
Oh, and I also listened to Immortal- At the Heart of Winter.

Exodus- Bonded by Blood This is one of those old legendary thrash albums that I didn’t spend much time with, despite a huge thrash phase I went through for a few years recently. One thing I noticed this time which I didn’t really notice so much in my few spins of the album before is that this album is surprisingly violent! Those lyrics are vicious! I think the album cover looks so tame when compared with the musical content on the disc. Definitely a great album, but I may even feel the violence is a bit over the top? Not in a cannibal corpse kind of way, but just a bit forced or something.

I have never been massively into Exdous either, but they are enjoyable enough.

I haven’t heard of that documentary. I’ll have to check it out for sure. Exodus are a band that never did anything for me with the exception of that first album. Same could be said for my feeling in Testament and Death Angel. However, I feel I should at least dig in more to those middle Testament albums I didn’t really give much time to. Exodus, however, nah. Lol

The Ruins of Beverast-The Thulean Griomories Like any release from this project, I'll likely need several listens to have a concrete opinion, but at the moment I'd be willing to call this their best since Foulest Semen of a Sheltered Elite
