I am approaching my 2,000th review for The Metal Crypt, a number I can't say I ever thought possible when I submitted my first one in December, 2008.
I realized as I got closer to that number, there was an opportunity to fill some holes in the catalog. Since my next review was to be my 1,980th, why not do an album from 1980 (which turned out to be Witchfynde's Give 'Em Hell). Then I could do one for 1981 (Judas Priest's Point of Entry) and so on until I hit 2,000. I have the 80s planned out but as most of the 90s are the dark ages for me, I would not turn down suggestions on which albums missing from The Metal Crypt I should review to fill in the holes from 1990-2000.
Looking to have some fun with this so feel free to reply and thanks for reading \m/ \m/

Could do The Carnival Bizarre from Cathedral for 1995. Often held as their best album, and I certainly won't disagree with that.
Spiritual Healing for 1990 is an easy pick, as is War Master for 1991. I'll let the others toss more suggestions from there.

I'd like to nominate Demolition Hammer's 1992 album, Epidemic of Violence. That crushing riff in the first track, "Skull Fracturing Nightmare" is enough to sell it alone. I love this album. Great thrash.

Excellent suggestions so far, thank you! Luxi, at least one of your suggestions is done but probably won’t go up for a bit. Had a couple for that year keep them coming, I am still working on finalizing the list

You sick bastard. Hammerfall - Glory to the Brave isn't there yet (I thought it was...)

Jumpin Jesus- The Art of Crucifying (1991) A hidden gem of an old school death metal album that is wickedly fun to listen through. Found it a few years back and really enjoyed it.

Could do No More Tears for 1991. Whatever you think of it, it's a big release. Could also do Ozzmosis for 95. I triple dog dare you.

So far, I've done reviews 1980 through 1984; Witchfynde - Give 'Em Hell 1980, Judas Priest - Point of Entry 1981, Motorhead - Iron Fist 1982, Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon 1983, Exciter - Violence & Force 1984 with 1985-1988 submitted (you'll have to wait to see which ones, I'm sure you're all on the edges of your seats). Thanks to the suggestions in this thread, I have most of the rest scheduled but still need some more ideas for the year 2000. As much as I like Dio, I can't bring myself to listen to Magica, sorry Luxi. I did take a few of your other suggestions

I did take a few of your other suggestions The years between 1982-2000 are full of good/very good albums, so there are many albums to be chosen from for reviews, Mike. Nice reviews for both Ozzy's and Exciter's albums though. However, I do rate Priest's Point of Entry album much higher than you Mike (would have given it either 4 or 4,25 out of 5), being a Priest -fanboy who I have always been since day one basically.

And Luxi, I'm a huge Priest fanboy, too, but Point of Entry is not good LOL! You should write a review, I'd love to read what you like about it \m/ \m/

Mike!
Nah, I don't think I will ever bother to write a review for the P.o.E. album. Anyways, all I can tell you that I did not appreciate the album so much at first (it was a grower of an album for me really), but after a few years of its release, it really clicked with me - much like the band's "disco fever forever" album Turbo did (which I tended to hate when it came out back in 1986).
Songs like "Heading out to the Highway", "Desert Plains" and "Solar Angels" are the highlights off this records, no doubt.
