Interceptor
Low-budget with bad acting and a predictable plot, but a lot of action.

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On If I had a nickel for every movie in 2022 that made me emotional using an inanimate object with googly eyes on it, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Where the Crawdads Sing Perfectly good coming of age/romance/drama thing with good performances and prose presumably lifted from the book. Perfect watch-with-your-grandma movie.

Been a while since this was updated.
During the holidays I watched the Die Hard movies again. It had been a while.
A couple of days ago I watched "Fall" on Netflix. It should be called "Vertigo by Proxy." Fuck. Two young women decide to climb a 2000+ ft. abandoned TV tower in the desert and they get stuck up there. After half an hour I was fully feeling like I had vertigo and couldn't stand it, so I watched most of the rest on fast forward.

Belleville Cop
That's with Omar Sy (Lupin). French movie, though you'll hear French, English and Spanish in the movie. I don't know where they got the idea of having practically all the Miami cops at the station talk to each other in Spanish on the job. The English was sometimes hard to decipher. It's OK, kind of the same idea as the first Beverly Hills Cop movie - cop's friend gets murdered, cop goes to town where friend worked to figure out who killed him.

Bordertown: The Mural Murders It's a Finnish movie based on the series Bordertown (takes place in a Finnish city on the Russian border). Didn't expect the ending. Whenever I watch Finnish shows or movies, I keep a close eye for maybe seeing Luxi flashing the horns in the background.

I will most likely be never seen in any Finnish shows or movies, but my minor role in one rather well-known metal band's DVD is already well-documented.

See How They Run on Hulu
Kind of a Knives Out style murder mystery with Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan, both of who I truly enjoy. Not the most heavy duty film, but completely entertaining in an understated way

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
I don't get the hate for it, but then again I went in with very low expectations set back when the movie was announced. I had a good time overall.
