Tchornobog-Tchornobog Damn, another band taking influence from The Ruins of Beverast and Deathspell Omega that's super cool. Been finding more of these recently, which is nice.
Detherous-Hacked to Death Standard Death/Thrash. I have said everything about it.

Helloween- Helloween
I had pretty much written them off after I was disappointed by Keepers - Legacy and Gambling with the Devil. It's really awesome to hear Kiske singing again. This is by far their best album in 20 years.

This is by far their best album in 20 years. Like I said in my review. The Keeper albums will always have a special place for me but that has nothing to do with the actual music (although they are crazy good). As far as beginning to end this new one could very well be the best of their career.

Darkthrone- Eternal Hails... The new one. I streamed it as soon as it appeared, even though I’m not a Darkthrone fan. Aside from the first album, you know, the Death Metal album they started their career with, I’ve never been attached to the band. This one won’t convert me either, but it is a pretty interesting record at least. Lots of more traditional heavy metal influences in this one, with a blackened tone. Also a bit doomy this time around as well.
Pestilence- Exitivm I’m on the fence about how I feel on this one. I’m not a fan of one note repetitions, but there are also lots of great riffs, and vocals are very on point. I think the guitar solos are what keep me most interested in this one.
Reinforcer- Prince of the Tribes Efficient traditional heavy/power metal band here. None of the songs are very long, and guitars are especially well put together. Nothing really stands out too much for me except for the last track, but it’s a decent listen. Not a top 10 record by far, but pleasant while it’s on.

Angel Morgue-In the Morgue of Angels Y'all like Incantation? This is basically Incantation.
Atlantean Kodex-The White Goddess Don't really know what I'm supposed to say that hasn't already. Just a fantastic album, one of the best of the 2010s.

Cerebral Rot- Excretion of Mortality Well, those cavernous death metal bands commonly found on 20 Buck Spin among the likes of Tomb Mold and Outer Heaven are really not my thing, but when I made a personal connection to this album here and the sound of Autopsy’s music, I started enjoying this one a bit. This feels like Bolt Thrower gets filthy with Autopsy. I’m seeing people don’t like it as much as the first album, but I didn’t really have much feeling for the first album back when it came out. Maybe I should revisit and choose whether or not it’s worth writing about.

Throne-Pestilent Dawn Another Melodic Black/Death/Something band. Not bad for all that, but not much to really say.
Humanity is Cancer-Humanity is Cancer Damn solid modern Death Metal.

Drawn and Quartered- Congregation Pestilence Michel nailed this one in his review. I just started listening to this one yesterday. For me, this is a big improvement over their previous record and likely to stay in my playlist rotation for a while. Some very, very good riffs here!

Zohomah-Spread My Ashes Black/Doom that's nothing special, but it's short enough to not to drag on too long.
Xysma-Yeah Ok, Luxi, explain to me what this is, because every time I listen I'm kind of at a loss. Fascinates me, though.

Znowhite-Act of God Was told this was a lost masterwork of Thrash, and despite the horrible cover art, they were right.
Xysma-Swarming of the Maggots This is definitely a Grindcore release.
