Monster House First time I've seen this since I was 10. Holds up surprisingly well as long as you don't expect anything particularly thoughtful.

Finished up the Star Wars prequels for the first time in many years. Not bad if you go in expecting little and are ready for an orgy of CGI.
Now rewatching Rear Window to remind myself of what good film making looks like

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
I had this the year it came out, but didn't remember any of it. Weird. Good movie.

Numerous movies but last big movie was the absolute horrid new Wonder Woman movie. Was Looking forward to it and holy shit was it bad.
On a brighter note everyone should check out a movie on Amazon prime called "Sound of Metal". Fucking brilliant movie...acting is next level amazing.

Basic Instinct
First time watching this one. Braindead trash with delusions of being sexy and cool, and I loved every minute of it.

Sound of Metal is not available for streaming in Canada. Amazon only have the streaming rights in the U.S.

Not a movie, but have been watching Supernatural for the first time these past months. Yesterday was the grand season 5 finale, concluding the overall story arch of no less than 103 episodes. Was underwhelming to say the least.

Coming 2 America
I really liked the first movie (can't believe that was way back in 1988...) so I was a bit apprehensive, but this was fun. They brought most of the original cast back, which is quite a feat after more than 30 years.

WandaVision
Yeah yeah, late to the party, only halfway through at the moment. Honestly shocked at how genuine the sticom sendups are, and the whole overarching story is pretty effective so far too.

I was annoyed by the first two episodes. Seemed like they spent an hour of time trying to get through 10 minutes of exposition. If you read comics or have in the past there are some big WTF moments coming for you as far as the MCU goes. Wont say more as I dont want to spoil it for you...

Sentinelle
New French movie on Netflix. The main character played a Bond girl in Quantum of Solace, if I’m not mistaken. She’s a French army sent back home after a traumatic deployment in the Middle East. Her sister gets beaten and raped and she decides to go after the perp. A story that’s been done many times. It’s not a very good movie and I must admit I kept watching because she’s hot - she even looks hot in a army uniform.

Blithe Spirit - it was on because my wife was watching it and I drifted in and out because it was meh.
